1.General Rights
1.1 By entering the “Istanbul Historic Peninsula Model Exhibition Photography Contest” (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”), the contestant accepts these binding conditions consisting of 6 (six) articles.

1.2 MODELPORT KÜLTÜR, EĞT. VE GÖSTERİ HİZM. AŞ (hereinafter referred to as “MODELPORT”) is the full executor of the Contest organized under the name of “Istanbul Historic Peninsula Model Exhibition Photography Contest” and its teams carry out all operations.

1.3 At the end of the Contest, 3 people will win a cash prize. The first prize is 5.000 TL, the second prize is 3.000 TL and the third prize is 1.500 TL.

1.4 Employees of Modelport, Miniatürk, Kültür A.Ş. or their first degree relatives cannot participate in the contest.

1.5 Contest applications are accepted only through the website

1.6 Contest participants should make their inquiries about the contest via [email protected].

1.7 Participation in the competition is free of charge.

1.8 The parties cannot transfer their rights and obligations arising from this specification to real or legal third parties.

The participant accepts, declares and undertakes that the photograph sent to the competition is entirely his/her own. Modelport is not responsible for this application in case of any violation and material copyright penalty that may arise.

All contestants participating in the contest by submitting photographs are deemed to have accepted to comply with the conditions of the contest specified in the specifications.

In matters not specified in the specifications or in case of possible disputes, Modelport’s decisions are valid.

2. Conditions of Participation
2.1 All entries to the Contest must be submitted via the website by 23:59 (+3 GMT) on March 15, 2024.

2.2 Entrants agree and declare not to use any name, logo or other intellectual property relating to the Contest or make any public statement regarding Modelport without prior written permission from Modelport.

2.3 Modelport assumes full responsibility for the fact that the entrant has read these conditions at the time of application. Participation in the Contest implies acceptance of these conditions.

2.4 Modelport reserves the right to disqualify any entrant at any stage and for any reason. These reasons include, but are not limited to, intellectual property theft, rudeness or abuse, dishonest representation and non-compliance with the rules.

3.Application Criteria
3.1 All entries to the Contest must be uploaded in digital PNG or JPEG format.
3.2 Photos must be taken with a cell phone.
3.3 You can participate in the contest with a maximum of two photos.
3.4 Under 18s can register with the name of their parents.
3.5 Images must not have any writing on them.
3.6 Entries that cannot be authenticated or are not acceptable may be excluded from the Contest at any time by Modelport.
3.7 Photographs submitted to the Contest do not have to have been taken within the date range of the Contest and may have been taken at any time in the past

4.Image Manipulation and Authenticity Assurance
4.1 Image manipulation is permitted in digital files containing HDR, focus stacking, sharpening, contrast, toning and multiple exposure layers in the images that are the subject of the competition entry.

4.2 All entries that Modelport suspects to be manipulated, falsified or found to violate the above rules may be disqualified from the competition.

4.3 All entries must avoid the inclusion of false or irrelevant data not originating from the original photograph.

5.Evaluation Process
5.1 Following the completion of the applications, a selection is made by a committee formed by Modelport. The jury members will select the 10 (ten) finalists from the preliminary selection.

5.2 Once the files of the 10 finalists have been selected, the jury decides on the winner of the Contest. The photos are stored securely and the winner will be announced on April 1, 2024.

5.3 Modelport reserves the right to disqualify photos for any reason during the Contest. This includes, but is not limited to, explicit or inappropriate imagery, ethical violations, intellectual property infringement, incorrect formatting, and participant behavior in relation to the contest.
